I had too many apples, and didn't know what to make, so I decided to use my handy dandy apple /slicer/peeler cut up apples to make sauce.
Note: I did not add any water or spices to this applesauce. I just put the lid on top of the pan and let it cook in it's own juices and it steamed while cooking.

Then I thought I would use whole apples for a yummy treat.The spices on top are nutmeg and cinnamon. These were also cooked in the waterless pans,
